Shepherd’s Literary Dinner with Sebastian Mallaby

30th November 2016 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

The final dinner in this year’s occasional series of highly popular Literary Dinners, kindly supported by Microsoft UK, takes place on Wednesday 30th November.

We are delighted to announce that the guest speaker will be the award-winning journalist and author, Sebastian Mallaby, currently the Paul A. Volcker senior fellow for international economics at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) in New York and contributing columnist at The Washington Post.

In a varied career, Mallaby covered the release of Nelson Mandela, wrote for a number of years for The Economist, served on the editorial board of The Washington Post and as a contributing editor to the Financial Times.

His latest book, The Man Who Knew: The Life and Times of Alan Greenspan, published by Bloomsbury in October, is the subject of five-years extensive research and in-person interviews.  Shortlisted for the 2016 Financial Times and McKinsey Business Book of the Year Award, Mervyn King described The Man Who Knew as: “A fascinating and balanced study of arguably the most important figure of the post-war financial global scene.”

7.30 for 8pm, set menu including wines and a copy of The Man Who Knew, £75 per head

Reservations: in restaurant, by telephone 020 7834 9552 or email info@shepherdsrestaurant.co.uk
